We love our new home in Ocean City. We reached out to Dorothy Philips with a price range and listed homes we would like to see. She arranged for a visit at each home and we decided to pursue purchasing a home in both our price range and desired layout and location. We made an offer that day. Dorothy reached out to the sellers agent and made it happen at our offering price! Dorothy was personable and very easy to work with. She is also very knowledgeable regarding Ocean City and has many contacts. She recommended Valley Bank to finance our purchase which worked out wonderfully. Dorothy handed off the logistics of completing the purchase to her colleague Nicole Farina. Similar to our interactions with Dorothy, Nicole was awesome to work with. She provided a time line of actions to take and provided documents to sign in a timely fashion. Nicole provided reminders along the way and was always quick to get back to us when we had questions. Nicole was also very helpful in recommending local inspection contractors and insurance agents enabling us to shop and ultimately select the best firms that met our needs. Nicole helped us to negotiate a relief for a minor issue identified during inspection. There were no milestones missed along the way enabling us to comfortably settle on the original closing date. Nicole conducted a final inspection of the home and supported us during closing. We enjoyed working with both Dorothy and Nicole and happy we chose Berkshire Hathaway as our realtor.
